Living in the Shropshire hills and owning a Labrodor, every day is a hike. I usually wear freets Tundra boots but there were none in my size and I had literally walked the sole of my boots so sceptically ordered these. Like any good barefoot boot you can unwrap them and go for a long walk with no blisters or rubbing. We tested them out on the Anglesea coast path. Like hiking in your slippers. So
comfortable. We laughed at a couple of hikers, struggling over the crevices of a slippery rocky outcrop by the shore, who were getting there stiff, inflexible boots stuck in the gaps on the rocks. We danced past them as they sank in the thick pebbles of the escair and raced over the causeway and up into the hills as they sat down to empty the water from their heavy wet shoes. Nearly as good as
labrodor paws! Comfortable, waterproof, sturdy.

This shoe is extremely comfortable. I bought one of the extra cushion insoles due to the long distances I walk (15 miles/24km) on a daily basis. I like the shoe because it promotes a natural ergonomics while looking good with my postal uniform. I will definitely be buying more of these for years to come. Plus made from recycled materials is a major plus.

I bought the boots a few days before my hiking trip in Patagonia (my first barefoot hiking boots). Because of them, I was able to do a lot of hiking every day; it wouldn't be possible in normal boots as I was getting a lot of pain in the balls of my feet. The grip on dry surfaces is exceptional, I was jumping on steep stones like a mountain goat. I was lucky and had nice weather all the time in Patagonia, so I can't comment on how waterproof the boots are, and how good the grip on wet surfaces is. I had no blisters, not even one!!! They are also very easy to clean after a hike.
The boots protected my ankles in terms of banging on the rocks and fallen tree trunks, but I am not sure how much they support the ankles. I am very happy with the purchase.

I have been buying and returning various walking boots in an attempt to find some that are comfortable and waterproof. These are such a great find. I have a bunion on my left foot and also need arch support. With these I have loads of room around my toes because of the large toe box, but they don't slip off the heel even though they are very roomy. I was able to replace the insole with an arch support insole. They are so comfortable and easy to clean too. I wore them last week on a 10 miles hilly hike and they were great. I take a 7 in an ordinary shoe and usually an 8 in a walking shoe and the 8 was a perfect size for me.

Good looking, feel comfortable, keep your feet dry. What else can we expect from shoes
