Tested in the Jungle, Built for the Wild

I’ve really put the Selva Freet shoes through their paces over the past few weeks, wearing them daily as a survival instructor out in the Philippines while running jungle-based courses—and they’ve been brilliant.

They’ve handled everything I’ve thrown at them: durable and grippy on the jungle floor, comfortable on sand, and incredibly practical when constantly moving in and out of water. One of the standout features is how quickly they dry, which is a huge advantage in humid, tropical environments.

They also fit beautifully and, importantly for me, allow my feet to properly connect with the ground. That natural feel is something I really value, especially when navigating varied terrain—it gives you better awareness and control.

A genuinely reliable, versatile shoe that I’ll continue to use in tough environments.

Great and comfortable shoe. The sole is a little bit thicker perfect for hiking or trailrunning.

10/10 comfort, fit and design

Wow Freet have done it again with these! The comfort and fit is incredible (as you would expect with Freet) but what really stands out with these is the fresh design, would definitely recommend
