Mudee L2

Love these! A plush soft leather upgrade to my original Mudees I got a few years ago. Much improved sole grip with nice flexibility around the ankles so they can move freely and comfortably. Have found previous walking boots ungiving around the ankles but these really work well for me and look pretty smart in the black too so could be worn as a winter town boot.

Excellent quality material and the whole shoe is very comfy. The toe box looks markedly unusual (even compared to my 10+ barefoot shoes) but they're so roomy that it feels amazing.

My only criticism would be it would be nicer if the leather was more pale. The colour of the leather is a fantastic shade but the recommended weatherproofing significantly darkens them.

The sole is much more rigid than my other barefoot shoes but still flexible compared to similar mainstream shoes.

I have three pairs of winter boots. One is from Vivo and then I also have two Freet models - Esk and Mudee L2. I much prefer the fit of the Mudee but brought them for different weather types.

I tried the Mudee 2 as well as the L2 and prefer the fabric of the L2.

Very Comfortable and good quality. I like the wide fitting, the leather feels soft and good quality, the sole provides enough protection from rough ground but also keeps you in touch under foot. This is my third Freet product - I can see myself buying a fourth . . .

Very comfortable, pleasant styling but disappointed in ventilation. Very sweaty!

Completely blown away by these boots! Bought them off a recommendation by a good friend who has similar issues with fit & comfort. These boots are the most comfortable thing I've ever had on my feet! As long as they can survive the insane milage I do for mord than a hot second, I will be looking to get more for the varied terrains I enjoy exploring.
