Loving them, keep getting asked where they are from, thankfully cool enough to wear in this English heat wave. Looking for dark colours and sole in this range please

My first pair of this model and second pair of Freets and very happy with this brand. First outing was in Andorra for some mountain trails and then a cave visit - felt good underfoot and although I didn't take out the inner sole, I imagine it would have even better ground feel. I've previously worn (and liked) Merrel trail glove but I think these will be my new everyday trail shoes. Handsome look too - better than the previous model from what I can tell from the other side of a computer screen.

Very well made shoes, sturdy and comfortable and I really like the colour and style. These are my first pair of barefoot shoes and so far I'm loving the roomy toe box. My only negative would be that the laces could do with being longer

Really pleased with these. Very comfortable. I walk in the Yorkshire Dales on very rough and rocky paths but the soles actually make individual stones underfoot less uncomfortable than my previous ‘normal’ trail shoes! Every time I put them on I think the heels are going to rub - but have worn them 4 times now with no problems walking 3 to 4 miles each time in hilly, rocky terrain. Good grip on most surfaces, but can’t comment re when very wet. I would say these shoes come up marginally small as had to exchange my normal size for size above. Happy with my purchase.
