I’ve been wearing zero drops for a few years now and have a few pairs of Vivo barefoot and a pair of Freet Flex 2 (daily use for last 1.5 years)
For the past 3 months I’ve been looking for replacements. I’ve tried multiple styles of xero, Altra and Vivo shoes, even the same style but upgraded versions and they’ve all had issues. Some have been tight across the top of the metatarsal area, others too tight across the arch of the foot. I’ve even had a pair where the little toes were trying to burst out the fabric and escape the confines of the shoes.
So, I’ve come back to Freet and decided on the Tanga 3. I’ve even dropped down half size for a better fit. They’re one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn in a long time. I’m only replacing the Flex 2s as I had originally bought my usual size but after a year and a half I’ve realised I had a bit more spare room in them than I needed.
I love the stack height as they provide my feet with a little more cushioning as I’m on a concrete floor all day but still enough ground feel.
Finally found really comfortable shoes!
Very pleased with my Tanga 3s which I am trying as an alternative to Vivobarefoot. Comfortable fit (same size as Vivos) and can see why many reviewers are wearing these day in and day out. Excellent tracked and speedy delivery.
Comfortable. I like that the outsole is stitched. I bought white elastic laces to go with them.
The Freet Tanga 3 is, hands down, the most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned. My feet are very narrow in the heel area. However, due to bunions, hammer toes and corns, I need a large toe box in order to feel comfortable when I walk. The Tanga 3 is perfect. I especially like the extra support in the heel area, as it holds my heels in place. The pink color is perfect...feminine, dignified and not too loud.
