The best guide for sizing your new Freet shoes is to start with your usual shoe size. Think about whether you always take this size or whether you sometimes need to go smaller or larger.

Customer feedback is that this style fits large to size; if you sometimes have to go down a size, it is more likely that you may need to go down a size with this style.

Our shoes are originally produced in EU sizes. All US sizes are the closest conversion so, if you know your EU size, you may want to consider using this.

Measuring Your Foot

Sometimes as a second check it is worth measuring your foot. Feet can be different sizes so its worth measuring both and taking the largest.

Standing next to a wall place a piece of paper against the wall. Place your foot on the paper with your heel just touching the wall.

  • The next stage is easier if you get someone else to help do it.
  • Take a pencil or pen and trace the outline of the foot on the paper.
  • Start at the heel.
  • Keep the pen at 90 degrees to the paper, so vertical, see diagram.
  • Don't draw under the foot.
Keep pencil verical
Taking a ruler measure the length of the outline in millimetres. This will be the exact size of the insole you will need. To ensure the fit is not tight add another 5.0 - 10.0 mm to the length. If you wear thick socks then add that thickness to the length.

Measuring your outline

If possible, please work from the EU sizes (the US and UK sizes are nearest conversions to these sizes so will not be as accurate). The lengths and widths are the dimensions of the insole in mm measured as per the picture below:

Lovely

I really like these. I specifically wanted slip ons as sometimes you just want to be speedy! (Or lazy!)
I bought a size down (41) due to the info saying they run big, but had to send back as they were too small. The 42 are quite roomy though. Thanks to Freet for honouring the sale price.
The back is quite high up my ankle so I'm slowly wearing them in to get my ankle used to it.
But they will be really useful and a bit like wearing slippers outside (that's a good thing!)

Presque parfaites !

Bonjour,
J'utilise ces chaussures en intérieur, je suis debout plus de 12h par jour.
La semelle est superbe. Elle absorde suffisamment les chocs tout en restant très souple. Elle est un peu rigide la première semaine, puis elle s'assouplit et suit parfaitement les mouvements des pieds. On ressent suffisamment les irrégularités du sol sans que ce soit gênant.
La matière de la tige est plutôt chaude mais laisse s'évaporer la sueur. Là aussi, après une dizaine de jour j'ai l'impression que les chaussures sont encore plus respirantes. Un léger brossage leur redonne un aspect neuf, très facile d'entretien.
La taille est correcte si on les utilise avec d'épaisses chaussettes. Sinon il vaut peut-être mieux prendre une taille en dessous.
Le seul point négatif est le rebord de la chaussure au niveau du talon. La couture est rigide et frotte sur le tendon d'Achille au point de provoquer des ampoules. Au bout de deux semaines, une des deux chaussures me fait toujours mal à ce niveau, c'est dommage. Je plie régulièrement le rebord vers l'extérieur pour atténuer le frottement. Une pièce en tissu pour recouvrir l'arrête à l'arrière de la chaussure la rendrait parfaite.
À part ce détail gênant, elles sont extrêmement confortables et paraissent solides.

Zacht materiaal, vertrouwde Freet pasvorm. Voor mij een beetje te warm voor temperaturen boven de 20 graden. Ik heb mijn normale maat besteld en dat zit prima.
Dit is mijn 5e paar ( allemaal verschillende) en steeds weer wat ik ervan verwacht : comfortabel, mooi afgewerkt en degelijk. TOP merk
