Quality product

Well built and comfortable. Apparently they come up small but for me they come up big (normally a 9, went for 8 and they fit will). The insole takes a little getting used to as it’s like a honeycomb type design but you can feel it on your feet

Very comfy but quite slippy

I am happy with my Kelds. I have been wearing Freets for years now, and worn several different models. Keld has a lovely wide toe box which is what I need, and they feel very comfortable. The main downside I have found is that the sole is somewhat slidey when walking on wet, smooth surfaces, such as untextured paving slabs or shop floors. Absolutely fine when not wet or when there's some texture there, but if wearing them about town on a rainy day, I have to go quite carefully sometimes to avoid slipping over.

Too large and unstable.

I went down a size from my usual and it was still leaving a lot of room in around the toes. It feels like I could have gone down two sizes and been okay.
But the bigger issue was my shorter leg (most legs are different lengths, the difference between mine is only about 5 millimeters, which is in the normal range), it tends to land more on the outside three toes of my foot. That part of the foot would migrate off the sole and roll onto the bottleyarn which made it very unpleasant to walk in and very unstable. The shoe wall is so flexible that even with the laces tightened, it wouldn't hold the foot in place on the sole.
If the sizing were right, it would be a very comfortable shoe and the grip on multiple surfaces was fantastic, but it felt too unstable and insecure to recommend.

Love These Shoes

These shoes are so great. I typically wear a 43 but took the sizing advise and went with a 42 and am happy with the fit. These shoes are so minimal and fit like a glove. A perfect travel shoe as they pack down to nothing. Like all other Freet shoes they have great ground feel, wide toe box. Very happy with this shoes.

So close...

Hard to rate, as I wanted to love these, but unfortunately my second toe on each foot is slightly longer than my big toe, and the discomfort was apparent very quickly. The assymetrical shaping of the shoe worked against me here. Going up a size would have been too big all round. Quite literally a case of "it's not you, it's me!"
