York 2

- My feet are L 277mm R 272mm. Width of my feet is around 105mm in the finger area and also in the middle.

- Width-wise all freet shoes I tested fit me well.

York2 size 45 fits like a 44 in other brands (xero/belenka). The leather is smooth and does not rub on the fingers as Citee2. No padding inside the shoe. The fit without any padding is a bit weird because it keeps quite big gaps on the sides of my ankles even though I have quite thick ankles. Comfort 4/5 - more comfortable than Citee2 less than Vibes or Tanga.
But for a formal shoe I'd prefer a polished leather.

- Quality looks to be good on all shoes but the workmanship is not 100% precise. Here and there minor imperfections but nothing major.
- The smell of the materials is that typical Chinese smell when new. So far only Belenka made in EU uses materials what smell nice and natural but that also shows on the price.
- Quality/price ratio mostly better than xero or vivobarefoot (when not on sale).

I bought these as work shoes. They are super comfortable and nice looking. I love freet shoes, these are my third different style. I'm a 6 and these are true to size. Highly recommend.

Simply, comfortable and beautiful shoes.

Feels very premium just gotta make sure to take care of the leather, just take into consideration if you intend on using these in autum or colder weather without the insole for true zero drop heel, thick socks are a blessing since the flexible sole lets a lot of heat transfer it makes sense.
These compared to tanga: Tanga is obviously a vary different shoe but the toe box on the tanga is actually a fair bit smaller than these which makes the York 2's feel a lot comfier in my opinion, thanks for the great shoes.

I have been wearing Freet shoes almost exclusively for the past 4 years. These York 2 are to replace citees (bought 2021) which are almost worn to the ground.
I have worn them round London a couple of times now and they seem comfortable and servicable for city walking.
