Very light but stiff at the bending area

The shoes are extremely light and, in my opinion, very good looking! However, for the first couple of minutes every time I wear them, they hurt the top of one of my feet at the point where the shoe bends after the forefoot. After a couple minutes, when the shoes lose a bit of stiffness this goes away. But it has happened every time now (worn about 10x). I also find the tongue to be tricky to get into a good position as it's a little padded which can bunch up in places you don't want.

Best pair of Freet I've worn yet thanks...comfortable, supportive yet flexible and so far so good with waterproofing and traction.
I went for usual size rather than one up and a good fit for me. I wear all day and hike for 3 of these hours.

Good quality

I wear size 7 to 7.5 and the size 8 is a perfect fit. More robust sole than other barefoot I've had and they remain dry on a 30 minute walk in wet grass.
